Shoes, Games and Textbooks in 2011

In 2011, the Foster Youth Transition Foundation was able to provide shoes to a foster youth who was outgrowing his shoes faster than his foster family could afford new shoes. We provided games to a foster child in occupational therapy that would aid in the recovery and development of eye hand coordination. We provided two high school students and one college freshman with laptop computers, printers, laptop cases, memory sticks and funds to purchase additional software. We also paid the room and board for a graduating high school senior and set up an account for that same high school senior’s college textbook purchases.
