Over the years the Foster Youth Transition Foundation (“FYTF”) has had the privilege of assisting numerous foster youth in a variety of ways. We have provided foster youth with computers for school, gift cards to purchase academic software, calculators, and printers. Our goal is to provide specific need for our students, whether it is providing art supplies for an art lover and a keyboard for a musician. We have provided a teen mom with a stroller, pots and pans and grocery gift cards to youth moving into their own apartments and clothing gift cards so a foster teen could purchase clothing appropriate for job interviews.  We have set up an account for a student to purchase college textbooks and helped a student who had a college tuition shortfall. Our goal is to meet the unique goals and needs of the students we support.  For a year to year description of our activities, please see our blog.
